Meet our Volunteers

Our wonderful volunteers, support IASS in a range of ways, such as:

Child/Young person views collection – to meet face to face with children and young people to talk about their views on school / education & create a views document

Peer mentor support – impartial support to parents/carers to help express views at education related meetings

Administration support – ad hoc admin to raise awareness of our service and improve and enhance our resources

If you might like to arrange a views collection or have impartial support at a meeting, please contact us.

Karen

Children / Young people views collection professional

Karen has a wealth of previous experience in teaching and education.  She loves meeting children and young people, hearing their thoughts and helping them to create a document of their views.   She volunteers regularly with IASS, meeting children and young people together with a parent/carer at a community location in Bracknell.

Bernice

Bernice supports IASS as a peer mentor.

If you might be interested in volunteering with IASS, please do get in contact to discuss.  Training will be provided, including IASS legal training, should that be of interest after volunteering with us for 6 months.
